Junior Finance Specialist (Finance Department)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Specialist to join our team. Reporting to Finance Director, Junior Finance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing group companies’ financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements and balance sheet reviews.

Key Accountabilities:

• Working closely with finance teams of group companies and identify accounting/reporting related problems.
• Coordinate and escalate identified problems to the line manager and actively participate in fixing those problems.
• Assist in monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations with group companies.
• Other related tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required background:

• University Degree in finance, accounting and/or other-related studies;
• Have more than 1 year of relevant work experience;
• Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA).

Required skills:

• Attention to details, accuracy and quality;
• Written and verbal communication skills;
• Professional ethics and integrity;
• Knowledge of MS Office Programs (good knowledge of Excel is a must);
• Experience in working in COINS system is an advantage;
• Familiarity with IFRS is an advantage;
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English.
