Role Synopsis:

 

This role involves supporting the finance team by assisting in the analysis of management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting cost and profitability analysis. Junior Financial Analyst will contribute to financial research, data collection for presentations, and participate in cross-functional projects to support key business initiatives. 

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Assist in analysis of monthly management reports and financial analysis packages
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Conduct cost and profitability analysis by product, project, or unit
  • Support various projects with data collection and quick-turn analyses
  • Help coordinate financial data for presentations, board packs, or investor updates
  • Conduct financial research as needed on market benchmarks or cost optimization ideas
  • Contribute to high-level analysis on key business initiatives or investment evaluations
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups or workshops

 

Required background and skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant work experience in finance or relevant field
  • Strong Excel and data handling skills (PowerPoint, Power BI a plus)
  • Professional certifications (ACCA or equivalent) are preferred
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and analysis techniques
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take on new tasks
